Feral Advo-Cats Program
We assist our community in its efforts to control the feral cat population.
The Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation is here to assist our community in its effort to control the feral cat population with education on the importance of sterilization and providing veterinary services to the township of Southampton and neighboring communities.
We receive countless calls from people concerned about the welfare of feral cats. The Trap, Neuter & Release Program (TNR) is the best-proven method to reduce the population of unwanted cats and kittens in our shelters and neighborhoods everywhere.
What is the Advo-Cats TNR Program?
Since its inception, SASF’s Advo-Cats TNR Program has spayed and neutered thousands of feral cats. We provide spay and neuter procedures, vaccinations, and diagnostic tests to help keep our feral cat population under control and healthy.
Feral cats are trapped in humane cat traps and transported to our shelter where they are spayed or neutered and vaccinated. After they recover, they are then released back to where they were caught.
How Can You Help Our Feral Cats?
