DESCRIPTION:\nFor the next three to four months, we will undergo critical upgrades including new flooring, a septic system and new dog kennels; during which our animals and staff will temporarily vacate the facility.\n\n\n\nDespite these changes, SASF will continue to operate from our temporary main hub in the parking lot at Red Creek Park in Hampton Bays, where our stray intake, adoption, and clinic services will remain available.\n\n\n\nCats and small animals available for adoption will be temporarily housed at a Town-owned residence in Southampton, and most of our larger dogs will be housed in kennels at Bideawee in Westhampton.\n\n\n\nWe appreciate your support during this challenging time. As the community shelter serving hamlets and villages across the township—from Sag Harbor and Sagaponack all the way west to parts of Eastport—we encourage you to visit, volunteer, foster, or donate—whether in-kind items, services, or monetary contributions.\n\n\n\nPlease contact us at 631-728-7387 with any questions or ways you can help during this time.
